The Laverda 1000 RGS, short for Real Gran Sport, was presented at the Milan motor show in 1981. In the 1983 version, the engine with a 120 ° crankshaft angle and a new, more enveloping fairing in extremely durable Bayflex plastic was introduced. .
The 1000 RGS had a new frame, with a lower seat and center of gravity. The Veglia instrumentation consisted of a single dashboard, which also included the fuel gauge and the water temperature.
At the time, this Laverda was much appreciated for the performance it was able to offer.
Much sought after on the vintage motorcycle market, it is certainly a good investment for the few examples produced and for the great fame it gained at the time.
